Waitlist mini site
A strong headline, the benefits of joining, a sign-up form and FAQ at minisitee.com/yourname. You set it up yourself, from your phone.
Day to day
When you launch something new, you need to collect contacts before it opens, and they end up scattered across comments, messages and notes.

Suggested structure
This is how the finished mini site looks, top to bottom. Next to each part, the tool you use to create it.

Appear when you fill them in: Link, Video, Social networks.
Tools
You add only what you use. Each tool can be added, removed or moved with a tap.
A short line at the top and the text that says what's coming and who it's for.
Highlights showing what people get by joining: first-hand news, a special offer and more.
Name, email and WhatsApp, with up to 20 questions. Sign-ups arrive in Configure.
Photos of what you're preparing, to make people want to wait.
A message from you showing the new thing.
When it opens, what joining costs, how to leave the list.
For anyone who wants to ask a question before signing up.
Instagram and other networks to follow the behind-the-scenes.
Joining the list
You put the link in your bio and stories, and the sign-up happens on the page itself.
From your Instagram bio or WhatsApp, and see what's coming and what they get by joining.
They leave name, email and WhatsApp in under a minute and see the confirmation on screen.
And let the list know when the launch opens.
Guide
A waitlist only works if people understand, within seconds, what they will get and why leaving their contact is worth it.
Open with a Title that says what is coming and for whom, something like "Phone photography course: new group opens in March, only for people on the list". Right below it, a short Text with two or three reasons to join. Talk about the real benefit, such as early access or a heads-up before everyone else, and do not promise a discount or a guaranteed spot if you have not decided that yet.
Before the sign-up, show a bit of what is coming: a Gallery with images of the product in progress, a one-minute Video or the Highlights tool with three differentiators. A preview lowers the doubt of someone who has never heard of you. If you have nothing to show yet, a Countdown to the launch date already gives a sense of movement.
In the Form, ask for name and contact, and at most one or two more questions that truly help you, such as "What do you most hope to find?". Every extra question pushes people away. The answers show up in Configure, where you can follow who joined. Make it clear, near the button, how you will use the contact.
minisitee does not send mass emails: when the launch arrives, you use the answers you received to write to people through the channel you prefer, such as WhatsApp or your email program. Say so on the mini site, with a sentence like "You will get a message from me on opening day", and promise only what you will actually do.
Best practices
A waitlist trades someone's contact for a promise of notice, and that trade only happens if the mini site makes clear what is coming, when, and what will be done with the data.
The list has four phases. Capture: the mini site asks for signup and shows a preview.
On the free plan only the first 3 tools show, so the signup must be among them.
Every extra field lowers the signup rate.
Whoever leaves a contact needs to see something concrete. Write the Title with the outcome, not suspense: "Phone photography course, 12 sessions, opens in March for people on the list".
You are collecting name and contact, so write, next to the button or in the closing message, what you will use it for: "We will use your contact only to notify you about this launch".
The doubts of someone on the fence are four. When does it open?
On the day, the mini site changes role. Replace the title with "We are open!
In Configure, look at two things: how many signups arrive each week and where they came from. For that, share the same mini site on the story, in the bio and in the group, and add a single-choice "How did you hear about us" with 4 options to the form.
Other businesses
Write the headline, open the sign-up and start collecting contacts before it opens.
