Day to day

Fewer loose links, more people listening and subscribing

Every new episode turns into a round of links, guest requests and proposals scattered across social media. One page brings it all together.

Without minisitee

  • Links for each platform are scattered across your social media
  • People who want updates on new episodes don't know where to sign up
  • Guest requests and sponsorship offers arrive on any channel
  • There is no place to introduce the show and who is on the mic

With minisitee

  • One link with Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube
  • Sign-up form, with the emails in Configure
  • A form for guests and sponsors, plus WhatsApp
  • A page introducing the show and its hosts

Guide

How to build a podcast mini site: what goes where

Visitors arrive from an episode, a recommendation or a story, and decide in seconds whether to follow. Your mini site should make that decision easy.

State the topic and the schedule at the very top

Open with a line like "Conversations about money and freelance life, every Thursday, 30 minutes". Readers instantly know the subject, the rhythm and the size of the commitment. Add a short bio of who makes the show, in a Text, with your experience on the subject and no exaggeration. A direct Title is worth more than a clever slogan that explains nothing.

One button per platform, in your audience's order

Use the Link tool for Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, putting first the platform where most people listen to you. Labels like "Listen on Spotify" work better than loose icons. In Video, leave an episode or a one-minute trailer for people who prefer to try before following. If you have Social networks, place them after, so they do not compete with the main buttons.

Episode updates sign-up with a concrete promise

In the Form, ask only for name and email, and let the button text say what the person gets: "Get Friday's edition". Tell visitors on the mini site that the answers arrive in Configure and that you write to them on your own, since minisitee does not send the editions. Share a past issue with a Link, so visitors know what they will receive.

Guests and sponsors need different paths

Someone who wants to be a guest is not looking for the same information as a brand. Use the Form or the WhatsApp button with a ready message, like "Hi, I would like to suggest a guest", and reserve a PDF File download, up to 20 MB, with the audience profile and sponsorship formats. Show only numbers you can back up.

Best practices

Best practices for podcast mini sites

People who open your podcast mini site want to press play, and every extra step costs you a listener.

Show name, subtitle and a 160-character bio

A name alone rarely explains a show, so give it a subtitle that says what listeners get.

  • Show name in the profile
  • Subtitle with the topic
  • Bio: topic + day + length
  • Square cover that reads as a thumbnail

Where to listen: one button per platform, in your audience order

Use one Link tool per platform, labeled with the name people recognize: “Listen on Spotify”, “Listen on Apple Podcasts”, “Watch on YouTube”.

  • 1st button: platform with most listeners
  • 2nd button: second platform
  • YouTube for people who prefer video
  • Social networks after the listen buttons

Recent episodes: name them for someone who does not know the show

Use 3 to 5 Product or Service cards as a showcase, with no price, putting a short note in its place: “Ep. 42 · 31 min”.

  • Title: the episode topic
  • Note: Ep. number · length
  • Description: topic + guest
  • Up to 20 photos per card, the first is the cover

Who hosts, and the video clip

A Text tool called “Your host” with 3 to 5 lines: your experience with the subject, why you make the show and how you record it. Avoid download counts, rankings or “most listened” without proof; if you cite a real figure, such as “over 100 episodes published”, add the date.

Seasons, transcripts and frequently asked questions

If the show has seasons, organize the episode cards by the current season and leave the earlier ones to the YouTube or platform button.

  • Where do I find older episodes?
  • When does the new episode come out?
  • Can I suggest a topic?
  • How do I be a guest or sponsor?

New-episode alerts: what the form does and does not do

The “Get alerts for new episodes” form has two fields: name (short text, optional) and email (email type, required). minisitee only collects the emails in Configure and does not send mass emails: you send the alerts yourself, with whatever tool you prefer.

  • Name: short text, optional
  • Email: email type, required
  • Final message: what happens next
  • Emails appear in Configure

Guest or sponsor: form, media kit and rights

The second Form, “Guest or sponsor”, uses name, email, WhatsApp, “What do you want” (single choice: Be a guest, Sponsor the show, Suggest a topic, Other) and message (long text, up to 2,000 characters). It does not take attachments, so ask for a link to the material.

What to measure and the cycle of each episode

Before release, announce the day in the Title or the Countdown; on the day, swap the card and check the links; afterwards, remove the countdown and share the video clip. In Configure, compare how many emails, guest requests and contacts arrived each week with what you promoted.

FAQ

Questions from podcasters

Can I add Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube links?

Yes. With the Link tool you create one button per platform, with whatever title and address you want.

How do I collect the emails of people who want updates?

With the Form you ask for name and email, and the answers arrive in Configure. You send the updates themselves with the tool you already use.

Can I show recent episodes?

Yes. With the Product or Service tool you create one card per episode, with a photo and description, and you can leave the price blank.

How do guests and sponsors contact me?

Through a form with up to 20 questions, whose answers arrive in Configure, or through the WhatsApp button.

Can I include a video?

Yes. The Video tool shows an episode clip right on the page. Your mini site speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Does the mini site show the new episode by itself every week?

There is no automatic connection to your podcast feed. You swap the link or the video in Configure when you publish an episode, which takes a few minutes.
